Bitton were the visitors to Ilfracombe Town and showed signs that they will continue their winning ways, although the home side carried a one-nil lead into the break. Bitton started well but could not find a way past the home goalkeeper having created several openings. At the other end the Bitton ‘keeper was also on form but could do little to keep out a loping Ilfracombe corner on 35 minutes. Bitton stepped up a gear in the second half but there were only eight minutes remaining before they equalised, and then within five minutes they took the lead with a well placed lob over the ‘keeper.
