We took to the 11-A-Side format again, and for the first time we played against one of our "A" Division Under 10's rivals, Fleetwood Town. With a 16 strong squad, missing Matthew, Connor, Cole, Tom and both Goalkeepers, we welcomed guest goalkeeper Drew Heywood from the Predators and gave Harrison his first XI a side game.

We took the game to our opponents in the first quarter, and played the better football to take a 3-0 lead, some excellent wing-play from Caillum, pulling one across the face of goal for Cameron to run onto and poke home, a second straight from a corner from Caillum, and then a fantastic move with Brett playing in Matty to fire home. We conceded in the last minute to take a 3-1 advantage into Quarter 2.

With 5 changes at each interval, we also faced the breeze in the second quarter, and in truth we did more defending than attacking, but held firm and there was no change in the scoreline.

Into the 3rd Quarter and we advanced the scoreline with a sumptuous volley from Liam and a first goal in BJFF colours for new signing Harrison, who latched onto a through ball from the impressive Lee.

In the Final Quarter we elected to make 5 changes at the mid-way point as well, to ensure fair game time all round, and a well-timed run from deep by Jamel saw him latch onto Caillum's free kick to make the scoreline 6-1.

Overall Scoreline. BJFF Blades 6 - 1 Fleetwood Town.

An excellent performance all-round from our boys, with Drew exceptional in goal, Bronson and Lewis standing out in defence, but the Man of the Match for an outstanding all-action midfield performance - Lee McEwan. WELL DONE ALL...
