Biography
A whole-hearted player who gives everything he has in each and every game. As a defender through most of the season, Ben is a tough customer to come up against, showing strength and determination against all sizes of opponent. Ben has the ability to use the ball intelligently after winning it and on numerous occasions has demonstrated his own skill and flair with mazy runs down either flank of the pitch. A player who enjoys football at all times, Ben is a joy to coach, always attentive and well behaved, his successes on the pitch have been enjoyed very much from the sidelines. A right foot -rocket- of a goal at South Shore in the Cup Quarter final a definite highlight for the season, during which Ben has maintained a high standard and developed from last year. Ben is a leading contender for the Manager’s Player of the Year and Sportsman of the Year awards.
