OLD BOYS IN HUNT FOR THE TREBLE
Blackhall Old Boys continue their search for silverware after progressing to the final of the Barry Horgan Frst Division cup thanks to a 2-1 victory over St Francis.
They also face a mountain to climb after progressing to the semi final of the John Dowson cup,setting up a tie against town favourites Rovers. However Blackhall will be on a high after coming out on top of their 'David VS Goliath' encounter with high flying Premiership outfit Travellers Rest,courtesy of goals from David Laight and a double from Martyn Brown.
There is also the league to consider,despite the quality of teams at the top of the first division Blackhall is in fine shape with 5 games in hand on top of the tree team 3 Lions and only a 12 point defecit to overturn,its early days but anytings a possibility
