It’s Always a difficult game away at Shrewsbury and this game was no different to any other year we have played at Shrewsbury.

Due to a goalkeeping crisis Stuart Turner Took one for the team by going in goal and in the warm up Darbs and Chambo scored past him, which is always a worrying sign!!! (Too be Fair Darbs goal was unstoppable and Chambo;s was a miss hit. We actually had to talk Darbs into not hanging his boots up, because he was going to retire after that goal.)

Anyway onto the game slight problem no ref and because we had 12 and they had 11 it was down to us to ref it & thankfully Owen stepped upto the plate to ref!

We started well and took the lead after about 15 minutes when good football from Ritch Massey and Chris Hunter, who played the ball inside to Chall, who's pin-point pass was smashed home by Tyler.

Shrewsbury then pushed forward & scored to level things after we had missed several chances to extend our lead.

This kick-started us and a great cross field pass from Hunter found Ritch Massey,who drilled the ball into the bottom corner.

Tyler then had a great goal disallowed by the linesman for offside.  Five 5 minutes later a great move by Ritch Massey and Tyler got through to Hunter who made no mistake to put Boing 3-1 up at half time.

Second Half Paul Massey Changed refereeing duties with Owen.  The only thing I remember about the second half is that we needed Marts goal, or so he kept telling us, saying that goals that don’t touch the back of the net shouldn’t count in my opinion. ;o)

Tyler scored to double his tally, along with Ritch Massey who added to the goal he scored in the first half.

Then "Football Porn" at its best, Boing Fc Goal of the season would have to gone to Tyler after a Barca Type move that tore Shrewsbury apart but hopes came crashing back down to earth when the goal was rulled out for offside.

Macca scored with a rare Boing FC Goal to take his goal tally to 2 in 21 years.
