*Boldon girls fc were formed in 1992 and are one of the oldest girls club in the North East.
*Players from all over the North East (as far afield as Teeside) have represented Boldon.
*Back then they played in the Cleveland Youth League, which then became the Tyne Tees girls league.
*Boldon are one of the founding members of the Tyne-Tees and Durham league.
*At the moment the club has 6 junior girl teams and an adult team.
*Many players over the years have progressed into the Sunderland FC and Newcastle FC academy teams.
*Some of those have established themselves as first team players at Sunderland Women FC.
*Boldon have had players who have represented England all levels including full England team.
