NORTH RIDING CUP FINAL
Boro Rangers started nervousley and in first few miutes both teams created chances. Boro Rangers got a lucky break after 5 mins when Oliver sent Ciaran thru who jinked inside and his shot deflected in past Richmond keeper. A minute later a clever ball behind the Richmond defence by the lively Matty put the Richmond keeper under pressure and Ciaran took advantage by coolly rounding him and finishing cleverly with his left foot.
2-0 soon became 3-0 with a great team move involving Ciaran , Mack , Oliver and Mattys finish.
Richmond pressed forward and had a good spell winning a freekick and the cleverly delivered freekick was turned in to make the score 3-1. A good save by Kalum then kept the score at 3-1 and Boro Rangers again broke clear with Ciaran crossing from the left and Oliver turning past the Richmond Keeper for 4-1.

The second half started with both teams matching each other and both creating chances. Frankie and Josh stood solid and made countless strong tackles. Rob and Bailey came on and affected the game to replace tired legs. Bailey held the ball up well and played a number of good balls to the wings. Robs tough tackling and sharpness snuffed out danger. Rob winning the ball and setting Mack clear . Mack drove on and finished well with a swerving 2yard effort.!

The score finished 5-1 , flattered Boro Rangers and Richmond played with great credit.

A good season rounded off with victory in a Cup final was very satisfactory.
