Biography

Charles has been chairman of BGUFC for 4 years now and has helped in ensuring the continuous growth of the club in that period and witnessed for himself the club go from strength to strength.

As a local Borough Green resident 'Charlie' first came into contact with the club in their very first season, he wanted to support local amateur football and follow the local sides in the region and came to visit BGUFC then under different management and playing at Potters Mede Ground. Since that first game he became an ever present supporter and was asked to become the first Chairman of the football club which he proudly accepted.

'Charlie' has worked hard to secure previous donations towards the club and organised a pub quiz night that helped raise enough cash to pay for the sides new home strip and new home ground at Wrotham School. He is a real favourite amongst the players and always has his say regarding team performances and ways to help move forwards both on and off the field.

It is a great honour to have Charles here at the club and driving the team onwards and upwards, and having spoken to the Chairman about the upcoming season he is optimistic that Green can bring home some silverware with league or cup success
