Our first league game as a part of the Hayley Lauder league was against Leith Athletic. The Leith players opened with three solid attacks and quickly gained a several goal advantage. We returned these goals with 2 of our own, and saw strong play in the center by Zoe and Morag. By the end of the first half, although we had scored 2, Leith maintained their three goal advantage with a score of 5 goals to our 2. We rallied strongly, however, in the second half and almost equalized, earning 3 solid goals, and letting in only 1.  This half saw some excellent play by Tilda, including one particularly brilliant save towards the end of the half, breakaways by Elena and Erin, strong shots by Morag and Annsia, pressure on the box by virtually the whole team, and a near constant pressure on the Leith defense. Despite these good efforts, the final score ended up 6-5 in favour of Leith.
The game saw goals by Morag , elena got 2 goals and also erin who scored 2 goals
