What a great performance from the team this week

Due to the bank holiday we could only raise 7 players with the help of Esther

Musselburgh looked very well drilled during the warm up and had a couple of inches on most of our players

There were no subs on the bench for us so the girls new they had a job today and after a good warm hit the ground running fronm the kick off which was simply the difference between the two teams
We were first to every ball kept up a great tempo and simply did not give musselburgh a chance to get hold of the ball  

This resulted in a couple of early goals and our confidence just rose from there

The passing was excellent and there was movement all over the pitch

Hannah and Kayla ran the central midfield snapping at the heals of the opposition

Esther and Ivy gave great width and put in fantastic crosses

Sarah J was given the captains arm band and kept everybody on there game from the back along with Sarah m helping her at the back with her forays up front picking up a couple of goals 

Niamh did not have a save to make in the first half and then went up front and scored two great goals second third

Third third things levelled off a little as we maybe tired however we were 8 0 up with goals coming from all areas of the park

The clean sheet was on until we perhaps pushed a little too much and left the back door open for the musselburgh striker to finally get one over our stubborn defence and goal keeper

By far the best performance of the season with every player on the pitch deserving player of the match
The team decided however to give it to sarah J for her solid defensive effort and great encouragement to the rest of the team

It was a great spectacle and the crowd enjoyed a great match
