Borrowash began well and took the lead after 15 minutes when a shot from Tommy Leighton Squirmed under Dunkirk goalkeeper Lowe.
The Vics pushed forward and scored a second after 25 minutes after a fine shot in the corner from Jamie Pawley.
After 30 minutes Dunkirk pulled a goal back which set up a great Vics second half performance.
Goalkeeper Tom Stones made a superb double save and the defending from the back 4 was outstanding and with seconds to go Jamie Pawley got his second goal of the night after a fine finish flew past the on rushing Dunkirk goalkeeper .

" We have to be on our guard against a good outfit, they like to pass the ball as well so it should be good to watch. This is the type of game the players should look forward too, it's a great chance to win some much wanted silverware and thats why I am here".

Vic's went back to the top of the league with a great performance against a Greenwood side who were not as bad as the scoreline would make out, but who were punished by some fine forward play.

Sat 8th Nov
Heanor Town 2
Borrowash Victoria 0

Heanor Town ended the Vic's unbeaten run but not for the want of trying. The teams went 0 0 at half time but Vic's were creating plenty, misses by Spencer and Pawley were to prove costly.
In the 2nd half 2 goals from Garner gave the home team the points but Vic's made there own problems by letting heanor off the hook with poor decision making in front of goal all game.

Bardon Hill Sports 0

The Vic's stayed at the top off the East Midlands Counties league with a fine home win. Vic's were four up @ the break and kept a well deserved clean sheet. 1st half goals from Spencer, Mottershead, Leighton and Pawley sealed a great all round performance with slick passing on a poor surface. Vic's travel to Heanor Town next week, come and support the lads.

Man off the moment Rob Spencer got the perfect hat trick on saturday to send Mark Wilson's men top off the East Midland Counties League for the 1st time this season. Vic's were 2 up in 7 minutes and went 3 up after the break, to be fair to Barrow they pushed and got 2 late goals however the Vic's were well worthy of the 3 points as they created chances all afternoon.

Sat 11th October

Borrowash Victoria 3
Ellistown FC 1

Vic's overcame the dissapointment of last week to show character in a hard fought victory over Ellistown with 3 second half goals. It took time for Vic's to settle with the visitors taking the lead into half time 1 nill. Boss Mark Wilson changed things at half time and Strzyzeski levelled 40 seconds after the break after a Tommy Leighton free kick and a Channon North double from Jamie Pawley's right foot crosses made Borrowash continue there good start in the league.

27th Sept

St Andrews 1
Borrowash Victoria 2

Borrowash continued there good start to the league campaign with a win over Leicester side St Andrews, two goals from Rob Spencer gave the Vic's all 3 points but it was a performance that manager Mark Wilson was far from happy with." We started slowly and could have been behind early on, Rob took his goal early on superbly but the finishing from the other players was a disgrace. I thought they were the worst side we have played in the league so far and they should have been out of sight, we played most of the game against 10 men after the goalkeeper was sent off for hand ball outside the box so that tells you a story. In the defence we made a howler and the last 10 were more nervous than they had to be , we will have to be more clinical against Arnold if we want to progress in the Vase." Said Wilson.

20th Sept

Ellesmere Rangers 1
Borrowash Victoria 3

Vics took there good league form into the FA Vase on Saturday with a fine win which takes the boys into the next round @ home against NCEL Prem side Arnold Town on October the 4th.
Channon North opened the scoring with a superb finnish to make it 1 nill @ half time. Andrew Mottershead then doubled the lead with a strong header from a Tommy Leighton corner delighting the Vics faithful.
North then got his 2nd after a great pass from Rob Spencer to put the game past the home side who scored a consolation penalty in injury time.

13th Sept

Hinckley Downs 1
Borrowash Victoria 5

The Vics continued there fine early league form with a emphatic win at the impresive Marston Stadium. Goals from North, Rob Spencer 2 and John Guy 2 made sure Vics go into next weeks FA Vase game in good form.

6th Sept

Borrowash Victoria 1
Dunkirk 1

Vics moved up to 2nd in the table after a draw with Nottingham neighbours Dunkirk, however Vics had the opportunity to take all 3 points but for missed chances. John Guy, Marc Strzyzewski and Rob Spencer all had chances to score before Spencer did score a glancing header from a Steve Banks cross, just before the break. The visitors scored with a speculative strike after Borrowash had chance to clear the danger with 5 minutes to go.

Sat 30 Sept

Borrowash Victoria 2
Gedling MW 0

Vics moved on to 7 points in the East Midland Counties league with a 2 nill victory that that was even more convincing than it sounds. Rob Spencer scored the 1st goal midway through the 1st half as the Vics opened up there oponents at will, with the oppostion goalkeeper having a game to remember. John Guy made it 2 in the 90th minute which was the least he deserved as he had a fine afternoon up front. " There was not to much wrong with that performance, just disapointing not to score more , however to keep a clean sheet was very pleasing Wayne Smith made a fine save to keep that clean sheet. praise must also go to the defence and midfield who worked there socks off all afternoon." Said manager Wilson.

Mon 25th Sept

Graham St Prims 1
Borrowash Victoria 5

Vics continued there unbeaten run with a five goal hammering over our neighbours Graham St Prims, the formation was tweaked after Saturday and it reaped rewards for Mark Wilson's men as the boys were 4 nill up at half time thanks to a brace from John Guy and Rob Spencer."The attitude was spot on and the commitment was 1st class, the defence and goalkeeper dealt with everything thrown at them 1st half the wind made it very awkward, but John Guy and Rob Spencer showed good movement and pace. Second half its always difficult to keep that level going but we are very satisfied and we look forward to Saturday." Said manager Wilson.

SAT 23rd

Ellistown 2
Borrowash Victoria 2

Vics took a point in there opening game of the league season with a hard earned point. Ellistown had there keeper to thank as he was the much harder worked of the two. Rob spencer scored and gave Vics the lead before a equaliser came due to poor defending. Ellistown took the lead in the second half before John Guy scored a penalty with five to play which was the least Vics deserved as they dominated chances and possesion in this opening East Midlands Counties League fixture.
