Biography

Ray was the club's goalkeeper for several years when it first joined the North Home Counties League in 1976. At that time, the club consistently finished in the top three or four positions in the Premier Division along with Taverners, Parkside, Favourite etc. Ray was a very capable goalkeeper and probably one of the most "vocal" players in local football.

He has been the Managing Director of the Mayday group of companies for many years and has provided some most welcome sponsorship for the club during this period.
