Bradfield Rovers 2 Foxash Social 4
Border League Div 1 - Saturday 30/08/08
Bradfield's nightmare start to the season continued and they are now firmly rooted at the bottom of division one.
After Daniel Lumley had cancelled out the visitors' opener, Rovers fell behind again just before the break.
Bradfield started stronger in the second half until a hotly-disputed offside decision led to Foxash increasing their lead. This effectively knocked out what remaining wind Rovers had in their sails and it was downhill from then on. Lewis Norman pulled one back ten minutes from time.
Bradfield take a welcome break from league action tomorrow when they entertain holders Hatfield Peverel in the first round of this season's Knockout Cup.
Bradfield Reserves, who went down 3-0 at Gosfield in the Tommy Thompson Cup, visit Clare Town Reserves in the preliminary round of the Reserves Knockout Cup.
