In tricky conditions and a sticky pitch Bradley took a while before they were able to impose themselves on this game. Earby started the better and hit the inside of the post early on but as the half went on Bradley started to play there passing game, Scott McCredie going close with a long range shot.
As the 2nd half started Bradley took a few minutes to get back into stride but soon the chances started to come with James Monkhouse shooting over after good work from Scott McCredie on the right. McCredie then went on a run before passing to Ben Green who's touch deserted him at the vital moment. Bradley continued to press and with 15 minutes to go James Monkhouse latched on to a Matt Adkins through ball and neatly finished. With time running out for the home side Bradley sub Ali Scott had a chance to seal the points but shot over from McCredie's pull back. Earby pressed late on but the Bradley defence marshalled by the expierienced Mark Houfe and Martin Brown were not in the mood to let there hosts grap a share of the points.
This was a good victory for Bradley and with the whole team working hard from back to front. A special mention to birthday boy and mom Matt Adkins who never stopped running in the middle of the park. Lets hope we can go on a run now starting with another 3 points next week against Earby again.
