1^st half

Max went close after just 1 min but his shot was well saved.

Harry shot just over on 3 mins after a great run and pass from Matt.

Josh broke forward but shot well wide on 7 mins.

We battled for every ball in midfield and were sharper than Ashton to the ball.

Harry turned in the box on 13 mins and his shot was well saved but Josh was there following up to slot home and make it 1-0.

Matt went close on 17 mins after some great attacking play from midfield and also had a shot saved on 21 mins.

Sam tackled solidly and broke down an Ashton attack.

Alex broke forward from midfield past 2 defenders and finished with a great strike into the roof of the net to make it 2-0 on 23 mins.

Ashton pulled it back to 2-1 on 29 mins with a great strike.

From the kick off we attacked and Josh battled through the defence and Lynford slotted home when the ball broke to him to make it 3-1 on 30 mins.

Jacob broke forward into the box and was taken down by the keeper and we awarded a penalty. Chris took the penalty well and slotted home to make it 4-1 on 35 mins.

HT 4-1

2^nd half

Jacob made it 5-1 on 4 mins after some good work from Harry and a great finish from Jacob.

Josh made it 6-1 on 6 mins after a powerful run and finish.

Ashton shot wide on 7 mins.

Owen saved well to deny Ashton on 10 mins.

We won another penalty on 11 mins but Harry’s shot was well saved.

Our defence remained solid with some great work from Aaron, Sam and Alex and a solid midfield performance from Max, Chris, George, Lynford, Matt and Jacob. We just looked sharper and quicker to every ball!!

Josh hit the side netting on 27 mins.

Ashton shot well wide on 33 mins and then Owen saved well on 34 mins to deny Ashton.

George shot wide on 35 mins after some good work from him in midfield.

FT 6-1

Man of the Match – the whole team. I simply cannot give this to one player as every team member deserves to be man of the match. This was a team performance where you all stepped up and won for eachother. Well done boys.
