Biography

Streets has been involved in women�s football since 2000 & started the journey with Braintree in 2005. After four successive league titles he has taken the Ladies team from the bottom of Division 3 of the Essex County League to the Eastern Region Premier Division in just four years.

Recently recovered from a third ankle operation he finally made his 350th appearance for Halstead Town in the FA Cup last August.

He started his semi-professional football career with Halstead Town in 1992, before moving onto Heybridge Swifts in 1998 where he played for 4 seasons. His move to Tiptree United saw him as a key member of the side that reached the F.A.Vase final in 2002 at Villa Park, before he returned to Halstead Town in the summer of 2007.

Streets almost signed for Braintree Town (men's of course!) in 1996, only to see the deal fall through between the two clubs, he now has to be content in turning out for the Braintree Staff team at the end of each season for his only chance of playing in the club shirt!

He hopes to finish his playing career at Halstead Town before retiring and taking up some gardening!
