From 2005 at the ages of 4 and 5 the team started and grew to over 20 boys. The team was started by Danny and Paul and soon after David Stacy and Fleur Smith took over the team. By 2007 the squad was too big and therefore they split into two teams.
When the team split, we became the Yellow's, with David Stacy managing the team and Lee Hammond becoming Assistant Manager. We missed out on entry into the Under 7's season but took advantage of friendly games and tournaments to prepare us for our first competitive season. In 2008, we were entered into the Under 8's Winter Osea league. Playing our home games at Braintree Cricket Club and also John Ray Recreational Ground, our away games took us to Coggeshall, Hedingham, Dunmow, Chelmsford and South Woodham Ferrers. In 2009, we entered the Spring league giving us the opportunity to play against a couple of different teams. In 2009, Darren Bull and Tony Kirby became coaches, supporting David and Lee.
