A glorious day was matched with a great performance and a well deserved win. Our passing today was as good as it has been this season, our defence was solid and our chances well taken. As Kevin said, it was a good team performance.
Ben and Harrison caused their defence problems all game with quick breaks and slick finishing and both earned their 2 goals apiece. Adil and Charlie worked hard in the middle of the pitch, winning the ball and passing well; Adil more than made up for a penalty miss with 2 cracking goals. Charles, Steven and Cameron worked the wings and delivered dangerous crosses and corners. Right across the back we were solid with Kieran, Richard, Charles and Tom all winning important tackles and setting up attacks. Kieran-s blistering shot and goal crowned a commanding performance at the back. And when called upon, Ciaran made brave saves at the feet of oncoming forwards.
So having achieved our highest points total, eyes turn to next season and building on the good start and end to the season we had this year.
