ABOUT THE TEAM

Brampton Rovers were formed in 1966. It is several years since we have been in a position to field an adult team. Our current Under 18 team has won their league 2 years running and is now ready to make the step up to adult football. Their manager Tony Henman has agreed to continue in this role for the coming season.Having gained promotion to Division 1 Brittania had a number of players who were retiring from football. It has been agreed that they will change their name to Brampton Rovers, with the majority of the players from last season providing the nucleus of the team. This together with the Under 18's players coming through should provide competition for places as the team looks to cement their position in Division 1.

Rovers have a well established junior team section with 20 teams playing in 3 different leagues. The creation of an adult team should ensure that all players have an opportunity to carry on playing after junior football and hopefully guarantee a regular supply of new players coming through to the adult team.

What do you think of coloured football boots?
Not for me thanks. Football boots should be black - end of story.
