Has been with Brampton since his eldest son started in 2002,became assistant to the then U7 team until Luke was selected for Sheffield United.Leigh carried on in this position for one more season then set the Saturday Morning Club up with Sean Newton on Christ Church School.On there first SMC 9 boys attended now 4 years on there have been over 180 boys and girls that have attended our SMC with most progressing to teams at various age groups throughout Brampton Rovers.Even today we average around 50 kids every Saturday morning.
Leigh now still helps run the SMC,and also is Head Coach with the U11s team which was built from the highly successful SMC and has had 2 successful seasons with the team.
