We also run a Saturday Morning Club aimed at ages 5 – 7 beginners group and an 8years and over group, this is open to boys and girls of any ability.
We offer a safe and fun environment for all age groups to enjoy the game of football in Chesterfield.
The majority of our Coaches are F.A. trained.
The Club has achieved Charter Standard
The Club is run by volunteers and the organisation is a non-profit making as all funds are re-invested back into the Club.
Our vision is to encourage and promote a healthy sports activity through football for children ages 5 to 18.
This also brings about other benefits such as giving the children another social circle in which they can make friends, develop and grow in confidence. Bonds forged in junior football are very often life long. Football is an international language.
In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
