Brandhall Colts

We would like to express a sincere note of thanks to everyone involved in this years 5 a side tournament,despite some atrocious conditions,we managed to raise nearly £3300,which will go towards funding our club over the forthcoming seasons,we would also like to thank all teams,players,parents from other clubs,who showed a great deal of patience and supported us through the wind and the rain,without your cooperation this tournament would have been a total washout!!....So to everyone on the stalls,the referees,carparking,runners and general dogsbodies...on behalf of BRANDHALL COLTS FOOTBALL CLUB....THANKYOU!!!





LET THEM PLAY
THEY STAND ON THE FIELD WITH THERE HEARTS BEATING FAST,
THE WHISTLE HAS BLOWN, THE DIE HAS BEEN CAST,
MUM AND DAD CONNOT HELP, THEY STAND ALL ALONE,
A GOAL AT THIS MOMENT WOULD SEND THE TEAM HOME.
A BALL NEAR THEIR FEET, THEY KICK AND IT MISSES,
THERES A MOAN FROM THE CROWD, SOME BOOS AND SOME HISSES.
A THOUGHTLESS VOICE CRIES, "TAKE OFF THE BUM"
TEARS FILL THERE EYES, ITS NO LONGER FUN.
IF YOU HAVE EVER BEEN TEMPTED TO SHOUT OR TO GROAN,
JUST THINK ITS A CHILD WHO STANDS ALL ALONE.
SO OPEN YOUR HEART AND GIVE THEM A BREAK,
ITS MOMENTS LIKE THIS THAT PLAYERS YOU MAKE.
KEEP THIS IN MIND, PLEASE DONOT FORGET,
THEY ARE ONLY CHILDREN,
THEYRE NOT ADULTS YET.

Brandhall Colts run football for both boys and girls from ages seven through to seventeen.
Training for all age groups is held at Brandhall school Brennand Road .
All teams play in leagues of there choice and we currently have teams playing in the stourbridge league, bilston league and the sandwell league.
