BRIDGHAM UTD started well at Shropham and created three good chances which were not taken or saved but then saw Shropham take the lead for 1-0. Shropham came more and more into the game and only some solid defending from Danny Hutt, Tim Leonard and Kevin Richardson and good goalkeeping from Billy Gorman kept the score the same. However Shropham then did make it 2-0 when a shot beat him at the near post. Bridgham came back and made it 2-1 when Tim Leonard shot was saved but Alan Boon scored his 26th goal of the season from the rebound. The second half saw the pace of the game drop with not as many clear chances being created but Shropham did find the net again with twenty minutes to go for 3-1. The final action of the game saw Gorman conceded a penalty but the Shropham player then blasted the spot kick over the bar to bring an end to Bridgham`s season. M.o.M - Danny Hutt.
