Season 2006/07
BLUES squad N.HILL,B.BARNARD,G.MACDONALD,A.HIGGINS,
T.BROWN,H.STANNARD,F.PALMER,B.HATCH,
M.BARRENGER.
An enjoyable season for the blues with both highs and lows,one or two heavy defeats,some wins and the vast majority of games where we did not always get what we deserved ,but thats football.
At this age results are not of the utmost importance and during the season our performances have improved and players have developed,this being our primary aim.
The scorers for the blues during the season were B.Hatch 5 goals,B.Barnard 3 goals,G.Macdonald 1 goal,A.Higgins 1 goal,T.Brown 1 goal and N.Hill 1 goal.
The boys have adapted well to playing in various positions whether planned or forced upon us and always accepted decisions during games without fuss,another very important attribute!
Lets look forward to next season and take things forward a further step. |
