Britannia Football Club

Hi & welcome to the Britannia Football Club web-site. We are a Vetrans team (over 35's) that play in the Green King Mid Essex League, we did play at a superb ground at the Bank of England Pavillion Langston Road, but the Bank of England decided to sell the ground! & is now owned by the Football Academy.
Britannia Football Club has been around now for a long time, originally it started life as the Bank of England team, there use to three teams on Sunday & two teams playing Saturday football.
There are still two Britannia teams, the other team play in the Football Alliance Friendly League, if you would like more info on any of the teams, please contact me.
It has a very long tradition & I am trying my best to keep it going.
We now play @ Debden Park High School Willingale Road Deben & also the Chigwell Police sports ground.
We are looking for a better ground to play at in the future, if anyone has any info about a ground we can play at, I would like to hear from you.
Also we are looking for new players, as some of ours are getting too old for it all now!
We are looking for new players especially a good standard goalkeeper for season 2008/09
