3rd place, but promotion !!
A fine season after being promoted by right in 2006/7.
Manager Ian Mitchelmore was privately thinking that a mid- table finish would be creditable performance, after coming up from Division seven the previous season.
To finish 3rd in a strong division behind Staverton Res and Stoke Fleming (who were both playing below their level) represented a tremendous achievment for the reserve team.
The icing on the cake was to learn that due to league re-structuring, a second succesive promotion was gained.
Many congratulations to the whole squad who built up a fine team spirit during the season.
