A good all round performance after the previous week.Started well with some crisp passing and moving.Got the ball out wide and threatened the Westside goal on numerous occasions before being awarded a direct free kick about 25 yards out on the left hand side of the goal area.Steve Leigh-Bryant had been awarded the free kicks in this area and showed that the decision was right by clearing the wall and burying it in the top left hand corner.(1-0 to the manager !!).Lots more pressure on the Westside goal and as it was heading to half time the ball broke to scoring sensation Chris Booth and he scored a superb goal from around the edge of the area.Westside battled well and had there chances but the defence and keeper were up to it all.
The 2nd half was much the same with us bossing the game and after countless misses it was left to that man Chris Booth again to wrap things up.Towards the end of the game Karim was hacked down in the area and up stepped Chris to get his hat trick but the keeper read his well placed effort and thwarted him from his moment of glory.
Good all round team performance with James Graham just about deserving of the man of the match.Every one played there part and gives us that bit of hope that all is not lost yet this season.
