Cheltenham League Div 3 Summary
Season Summary 2007-08
A good improvement from the first team this season saw them finish in 6th place in the league a marked improvement on last season. A series of Fantastic post christmas results saw them fly up the table to the top of the middle pack in Division 3 and looking good for pushing further up the table.
Team Performance of the season was in defeat away in the county cup at Coleford where they were in control for large periods of the game and were unfortunate to lose it in extra time which was significantly unaided by frankly some Home bias from the referee as coleford began kicking.
Individual player performance of the season was a split decision between Filton Gardners classy hat-trick against Elmleaze and Andy Brentnalls 4 against apperley also Mark Turnbull's (if you remember him) scored 4 against Bishops Cleeve.
