The final league match of the season saw a full compliment of Rhino’s who all played a part in an excellent game. Jake Nichols and James Kirkham started in defence and demonstrated excellent skill which kept the Puma’s at bay. Liam Robins and Joseph Russell worked the mid field and despite several shots at goal they could not add to the score sheet. Cameron Taylor and Ben Grindley took some excellent passes from the mid field but couldn’t hit the target. half time saw a complete change of team apart from goalie Alex Crisp who had another super game with a clean sheet. Ben Broadley and Jack Bowyer took over the defence and dealt with considerable pressure from the Puma’s with ease. Cavan MacDonald and Harvey Elliott attacked hard and repeatedly tested the Puma’s strong defence and despite hitting the woodwork they could not hit the target. William Gaeta and Charlie Grindley stayed focused up front. A satisfactory result to end a brilliant season.
