The Braves took their unbeaten run to 8 games with a well deserved victory in extremely windy conditions over Tansley Juniors.  The Braves were kicking with the wind in the first half and mounted sustained early pressure on the Tansley goal with 12 corners in the first 6 minutes.   Both Twigg and Woolley were denied on multiple occasions by the woodwork and a crowded Tansley goal line.  However, on 15 mins James Tighe latched onto the rebound from a Charlie Edwards shot and coolly slotted home the ball to put the Braves into a well deserved lead.

The second half produced some crisp passing football by the Braves as they pushed against the wind to extend their lead.  A powerful run by Waimsley from midfield set up Tighe for his second on 24 mins.  Soon after the restart, Tansley pressure, aided significantly by the wind, forced a goal scored directly from a corner which goalkeeper McKenzie Bennett could do nothing about.  Robust tackling and intelligent defending by Noah McCahill ensured that Tansley had no further sight of the Braves goal.  The Braves pushed on with Max Graham causing trouble in the Tansley defence with his direct runs, before the final goal of the game was scored after Josh Gill skilfully beat 3 defenders and squared the ball nicely for Tom Wager to fire home a close range effort.
