Town pick up their first piece of Silverware.
Goal Post Town's season began in turmoil when several players left for various reasons but despite being in the bottom two at the end of October Town turned it round and eventually grabbed the runners up spot for the second season running, Town were knocked out of the Derbyshire Cup at the Quarter Final stage to eventual winners Dove Holes but they went on to pick up their first piece of silverware when lifting the Dore Shield at The Silverlands after a 3-0 victory against Duckmanton.
