Unfortunately this is not the result that we wanted to finish our 1st season together off.

But we should of seen the signs, it was cold, thunderstorms in the area and hailstones, not good signs.

We were still struggling with injuries, but in the first half we had chances but the burghfield keeper saved them all. We were trying to play football and passing to the wings. It was to no avail, we even tried to change the team around, but we just could not seem to score. Burghfield took their chances and were 2-0 up at halftime.

We once again tried to pick up the lads and it worked for the first 15mins, we attacked and were winning the ball better. We then scored and I then thought we were going to get a draw, but some confusion in the defence allowed Burghfield through to score a third. That is how it ended 3-1.

Overall an ok match, we have areas to work on for next season, but we finish 5th which I think is very good as a team together.

M.O.M. This goes to Ross, who once again had a great game and kept us in it for long periods. Kieron also pulled off great saves today.

A big thank you goes out to all the players this season and to the parents who have stuck by us. A big thank you also goes to Ray our Manager who has co-ordinated all the logistics in the background and let us run things smoothly.
