Biography

Having dabbled in football with my four brothers I joined Pye Ladies football club when I moved to Cambridge many, many years ago! I have played for 25 years and have been involved in one capacity or another in running the football club I have also played in every outfield position except goalkeeper, which is just as well really!! More recently I settled on playing striker alongside a youngster who could do all the running for me!



For the last 3 years I have had the onerous task of being chairperson of the club and have been instrumental in linking up with the rugby club to have our own dedicated football pitch and training area, this work is ongoing and is supported massively by a team of hard working and dedicated people from the club.



My objectives as chairperson are to continue to have a well run club, with ongoing training for all coaches and managers to maintain a high standard within the club, and to have a permanent home for the club with a high level of facilities where everyone can train, play and be a well supported community club.



This is what I hope to achieve at Granchester road, but know it will take some time to put in to practice.



Off the football pitch and outside the club I play a bit of golf, commute to Dublin and do some acting.

I also run my own business and have 3 cats and a dog.
