Well the cobwebs are gone so on to Eccleshall for the second game of the day.

Kick off and its a different Cannock for this one, Chad looks as assured as ever cutting out any chances from the Eccleshall forward line. Jonahs no nonsence approached means the ball no sooner gets in the Cannock half that its on the way back. Jacob has little to do but his handling is spot on and kick outs are coming on a treat.
Birchy is looking to take on the world and before long the ball is being pinged into the box for James, Dan and Adam to get on the end of. On one of these occassions Birchy crosses to James, first touch to Adam and no mistake 1-0. Cannock look up for it now and before long another Birch cross and goal machine May makes no mistake 2-0.

Half time 2-0 Stu has little to do but water the troups and keep em of the Farrish Flat Jacks !!

Second half under way and Xander is playing the game of his life seeming to have all the time in the world ably assisted by Danny Gosling it looks the case of how many. Captain Adam now takes over and commands the middle piling the pressure on Eccleshall. Corner to Cannock and not to be out done Dan smacks one in 3-0. Its one way traffic and the Eccleshall manager is looking at the watch. James latches on to a goal kick and from a good 40yards lets rip 4-0. This is already looking like a good year and with a nothing touch of individual brilliance Adam makes it 5-0 and its now a battle for the first hat trick of the year. Able assisted by the team is it to be James or Adam, not long to go and chances are coming thick and fast.
James is on target but keeper saves, Birchy comes close, Dan has a crack, even Chad has one of his trademark runs but just shoots wide. Still only 5 then Adam get the ball and head down off he goes 6-0 the hat trick, well deserved.
Whistle blows thankfully for Eccleshall, lets hope its the sign of things to come.
