After only scraping a draw against Hanworth pk last week we needed a big performance today against a team that we dropped 4 points against last season , and boy did we deliver!!
The game was barely ten minutes old when we took the lead through Sammy who seized on the keepers hesitant reactions to nick the ball and fire home, our second was soon to follow.
With another speedy counter attack Sammy got free down the left and found Clive with a low cross which he duly buried from 10 yards. The home side were struggling to keep up with our quick movement and incisive passing in midfield, and our defence were restricting the BOKS forwards to limited half chances,we could see there were more goals in this game and our 3rd soon came.
A long punt down the pitch from Dean left the boks centre back in a flap and by time he controlled the ball clive was on him with a tackle that would have made stuart pearce proud , from the tackle the ball squirmed through towards goal closely followed by sammy who fired in a lovely right foot shot to send us in 3-0 up at half time.
The first half had seen us play some excellant football ,and we continued to do so in the second half.
Our dominance of play soon led to more chances on goal and we soon added a 4th, Denny broke free down the left and fired a cross over to the back post that was finshed off by sammy to complete his hat trick.
Around this time subs were made with Sammy,Clive and Andre being replaced by Omah ,Moley and Collins with all three having decent attempts on goal , but the final goal was to come from Jermaine who skinned 3 defenders before shooting low across the keeper into goal, it was a fantastic goal to round off a fantastic team performance.
