Established in 1885, Castle Donington Town Football Club is the only men's team in the village. Playing on a Saturday afternoon in the Belfield Midlands Regional Alliance. Last season the club was promoted to the Premier Division where they have entertained teams such as Alfreton Town, Belper Town and local derbies with Long Eaton United and Melbourne. Since its launch the club has had an illustrious winning history with the most recent being the Leicestershire and Rutland FA Junior Cup in 2006.
The club is an important part of the community and recently saw the development of a reserves side to provide a route for up and coming players to break into the senior side.
As with all clubs we are always looking for new players or volunteers to help run the club, if you're interested please contact Sue Shearman (Secretary) on 07508 839512
