Club Moto: We Play the Art Of Football - It's In Our Game.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Celtic Girls & Tayside Ladies F.C , here is where you will find the knowledge about a terrific bunch of girls that have overcame many obstacles to be what they are today, a solid unit of talented girls who care, play and socialise together and have the same belief in what they do and that is to play the art of football in all it's splendour, we hope you enjoy our site!!!
Celtic Girls (Tayside) F.C were formed after Dundee Celtic Girls who had been affiliated with Dundee Celtic Boys from the year 2000 under the guidance of George McGregor split from the boys to become a Club in own own write. This occured in October 2003 and Celtic Girls (Tayside)F.C were born. Since that date our Club has strived to become a leading Club in the world of Girls and Women's football, in the four years since our birth we have grown in stature and strength. We now have around 100 girls playing in 6 different teams under the SWF Banner, season 07/08 will finally see our first U17's team, who have grown together through the age groups since being U11's, compete at that level.
Our Club have been awarded a Quality Mark which is another huge achievement for all the players and volunteers at Celtic Girls. We try to plan for the future and the growth and expansion at the Club is presently going in the correct direction, we know though that to achieve our maximum potential we must never relent on the building process.
From season 08/09 and with movement towards senior football become nearer a new Club who will be known as Tayside Ladies F.C has been formed, this team played thier first season as our U17's team last year,

Our Club are hoping to expand our team structure and are therefore looking to recruit players born from in the years1985 until 2002, we are also requiring new Coaches or Volunteers who would like to become a Coach at the Club, and it would be terrific if we could get more adult females involved in the Coaching side of teh Club.
