2nd team history

The second team started in 1948 in South Division 2 and remained there until the league structure changed in the late 1960's. In the 1970's when the league structure was changed again the team played in the Reserve Divison of the Division the 1st team played in. During these years the team were runners up in the Premier Reserves in 1978/9 and Champions of Division 2 reserves in 1996/7.

In 1998/9 the 2nd team were runners up in Premier Reserves and in 1999/2000 won the Premier Reserves Division and also the Reserves challenge cup.

In 2004/5 the league was re-structered to a ladder system and the team was placed in Division 2, being promoted to Division 1 that season, where they remain the highest placed Reserve team in the whole of the LAL.

The 2nd team won the 2nd XI Challenge Cup again in 2005/6.
