It is with deep sadness that we have to report the untimely loss of the top man in CoS Andy T, who suffered a massive heart attack on Boxing Day and couldn't be revived. Andy was 53, father of current 1st team player Luke, and a player, official and ref for our club for the last 38 years, first playing for the club at 16 and running many successful sides, including the 1st CoS side to reach a cup final, until he finally hung up his boots at 46. 

Thereafter he carried on as our fixtures secretary and reffing whenever needed, but this season packed up reffing so that he could proudly go and watch his son play every week for the 1's.

But what Andy will be most fondly remembered for by all who knew him, was his love of the social side of the club - always the life and soul of every do - whether it be a few beers in the pub, a party or a curry house visit where he always led the sing-a-long, with a huge range of classic ditties in his own inimitable style.

No one who witnessed AT belting out King of the Swingers or an alouetta - when he always somehow managed to remember all the tag lines he made up for each person - will ever forget the great experience and pleasure he brought to every social do.

Our thoughts are with Luke, his parents Len and Mary, his brother Mick and sister Cathy and their families, and his long time girlfriend Karen, who was with him when he collapsed, and her girls, to all of whom we extend our deepest sympathy and condolences.
