Report

Much better weather than the previous weeks halestone's and rain greeted the two teams in what was an existing match. The Nomads dominated the opening ten minutes building up a three goal lead and playing some great passing football that the visitors could not cope with. The midfield three of Tom, Billy and Dillan linked well with Calum up front and the first goal arrived early. Tom having been fowled, picked himself up and curled the freekick in off the post. The second goal started on the right with Dillan who fed Billy he in turn passed onto Tom who found Calum to slot the second. Shortly after Tom made it three after the cut inside the defender. The visitors started to create chances thought and Aaron had to make a couple of good saves, whilst the Westminster attack rattled the home sides crossbar. Nick and Harvey marshalled the defence well and after a couple of substitutions Henry and Joe came on as the home side created more good chances. In the second half the away team applied the pressure hitting the post and surging forward at every oppurtunity but the Nomads always looked dangerous on the break. Westminster Park got a goal back and it was a great header from a corner late on but the Nomads held on for a deserved win.
