Chettle Court Rangers (Youth) FC Project wants to make a difference through the programmes it run. Our monitoring and evaluation is therefore an important part of our work to ensure that maximum result are achieved and that funds invested are used most effectively.

Child abuse is a very emotive and difficult subject. Abuse can take place in many different situations, including the home, school and sporting environment.
The reality is that child abuse does take place and some individuals will actively seek employment or voluntary work with children in order to harm them. everyone working with children has a responsibility to safeguard their welfare.
Chettle Court Rangers (Youth) FC in the power of sport and the arts to exert a positive influence on young people. However, it will only have positive effects if the delivery of Chettle Court Rangers (Youth) FC programmes is in the right hands - those who place the welfare of children first and who adopt practices that support and protect them.
Chettle Court Rangers (Youth)FC recognises the children's right to protection and that the rights of children with special needs and others who may be particularly vulnerable must be taken into account. Everyone working for Chettle Court Rangers (Youth)FC, whether in apaid or a voluntary capacity has a legal and moral responsibility to protect young people from abuse and to safeguard their welfare. The children who participate in our programmes should be in a safe and secure environment with the support and encouragement of all those involved in our activities.
Chettle Court Rangers (Youth)FC is committed to ensuring that everyone working for Chettle Court Rangers (Youth)FC has appropriate information and sufficient training to ensure best practice when working with young people. Chettle Court Rangers (Youth) FC approach to Chil protection is based on principles in the UK and internationally, as well as Government guidance.
In additional, coaches and volunteers who run our programmes have regular contact with children and can be important links in identifying situations which suggest that abuse has taken place or is still occuring, Chettle Court Rangers (Youth) FC can also play a significant role in building the young people's confidence and improving the self-esteem of children who have been abused.
