Striker Tots is our partner in football, and is the development centre for our pre-school players.
Run and managed by Richard Graham, a Professional footballer with Oldham athletic, and whom started out with Churwell Lions, its the perfect start for our children, who then go onto join our development squad at year one, under 6, when they finish at Striker Tots. 

Striker Tots Programme

The Striker Tots programme has been designed by ex-professional footballer Richard Graham. Richard joined the then Premier League club Oldham Athletic straight from school making his home debut against Manchester United. He remained at the club for 9 years making over 170 league and cup appearances before his career was cut short at the age of 25 due to a serious knee injury.

Richard has a ‘football mad’ 3 year old son and after struggling to find a suitable football class to take him to in the local area, decided there was a need for toddler football sessions to be provided. It just made sense for him to use his vast skills and experience to design a programme and take up the role of Head Coach.

The programme teaches and develops all the basic football skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and heading as well as fitness, balance and
co-ordination. The Striker Tots programme also promotes good health and wellbeing and provides an excellent opportunity for toddlers and young children to meet other kids and develop their social skills such as teamwork, sharing and communication.
