Cleveland Juniors was formed in 1985 by the late Frank Rush. The club quickly established itself as one of the biggest and most respected clubs in the country.
The club has won numerous major trophies and league titles over the years, but fundamentaly the ethos has always remained that football is for everyone, win or lose.
Following Franks death ,over the years the number of teams fell to only 3. This sparked a campaign via Facebook to preserve the legacy of Cleveland Juniors and (The All New) Cleveland Juniors FC group was formed. With over 750 members and alot of hard work by the committee/coaches/parents/friends a free Academy was started and new teams formed.
The club has now got a healthy number of well managed teams, and our free Saturday academy continues to flourish.
Most recently the club have been chosen by the charity Lionsraw to be it's first uk legacy project, which will result in the club having its own nominated ground and new clubhouse. This project is still in the development stage but we are hoping it will be completed by 2013/2014 season.
