Daventry Drayton Grange 2
CLIPSTON FC 1

Clipston put in a horror first half display and found themselves two goals down at the break. Both Daventry goals were well worked but aided with Clipston's worst 45 minutes of the season.
Clipston's second half display was much improved and only wasteful finishing saw them fil to secure an away day point. Clipston made all the running in the second period and soon pulled a goal back aftter Bates strolled through a midfield line passed to Adam Stirling who in turn set up Craig Robinson with a slided through ball who slammed home from 18 yards.
Clipston continued to press throughout the second period but were unable to undo the first 45 minutes performance and fell to their first away league defeat of the season.
Pete Burnham was Clipston's star man pulling off some heroic saves to keep Clipston in touching distance.
