Club History

Formed in 1969 as Great Clowes F.C,a Sunday afternoon team playing in the Notts Sunday league intermediate division.
Progress was swift as the team was Intermediate Division 2 champions in 1971/2 and then Senior Division 2 champions in 1972/3.
Following promotion to the Premier section, the club was the first to achieve a Premier double when they won the Premier Division 1 championship and the Premier section cup in 1973/4.
Following a sponsorship arrangement with Clumber Kitchens and Bathrooms, the change of name to Clumber K&B came in 1974.
Further sponsorship deals have resulted in a change to the second part of the name, until the current situation where the Club is simply Clumber F.C.
At the end of the 1991/92 season, having won the afternoon Premier Section, Premier Division title, Clumber followed the migration to Sunday morning football.
