Most of the teams first full competitive season was at U9 level at Bolton Lads & Girls Club playing in the North Bury JFL .
The majority of the team moved to CMB at the start of the 2006/07 season to play in the Bolton & Bury District JFL in section B. 4 new players were added to the squad and, after a slow start and adjusting to the higher standard of the league, they started to gel together as a squad. Since Christmas they only lost 1 league game and finished in a Promotion winning position.
The transformation in performance was remarkable and gives both the Management Team and the parents a great sense of pride in what the team has acheived. The lads themselves can be justifiably proud of their performances and the improvement that they have made.
The reward for the Season was winning our first trophy, The Billy Dean Memorial Sheild.
The new season will also bring the challenge of 9 a side football as we look forward to another successful campaign.
