Trained only for victory, a Colchester Spartan knows but one home - the football field and one family - his team-mates.


Established in 1996, the team was originally called Pied Pipers FC.

In 1999, the team changed name to Areeva FC.

In 2005, the team changed name to El Gigante FC.

In 2007, the team changed name to Colchester Spartans FC.
