REIEW OF 2006/07 SEASON TO DATE
A friendly was won 7-1 at Little Oakley as preparations were made for the new season. This was followed by a home success over Runwell Hospital 7-2, which included a hat trick for defender converted to striker Antonia Vassallo. The serious action begins with a 5-1 F A Cup loss at home to Chelmsford City and 4-2 league loss to Concord Rangers. The first away league match sees the Ladies miss several chances but win 4-1 at Maldon Saints.

The trip to Saffron Walden sees the usual defeat 3-2, the winner coming late on. Back on home soil, and it is a resounding 7-0 win at home to White Notley, and another hat trick for Antonia Vassallo. A humiliating loss see the team lose 11-1 at home to Billericay Town on a very wet afternoon. Consecutive 5-1 defeats at Hawkwell Athletic and Maldon Town sees a slide begin in the league. In the County Cup it was the expected heavy defeat, 9-0 at home to Braintree Town. After a month without a game, the last match of the 2006 sees a 2-1 defeat at White Notley.
