ABOUT COOKHAM DEAN FOOTBALL CLUB

Cookham Dean F.C. is a popular old club steeped in tradition.
The third oldest within the Berks & Bucks has enjoyed plenty of success in its long and eventful history.
The modern progressive outfit we see today is built on solid foundations of sportsmanship and tradition. The Club has always attracted players who are disiplined and loyal, who enjoy playing at a decent level of Football and who also want a social club to relax in after a game and to compliment their sport.
Cookham Dean enjoyed an exciting campaign in 2006/2007, the Senior side followed up the Championship winning season of 2005/06 with a 3rd place finish in the Reading Senior Division while the Reserves first ever year in the Premier Division exceeded all expectations with a very creditable 4th place achieved.

In the youth section the Under 18s enjoyed a decent season and the senior section also saw the benefits with several players breaking through into the mens ranks. Amonst the younger teams the Under 15s had their best ever season and were Runners up in their Division and the new U12s finished well after a difficult start
to end around mid way in their section.
The top performers in the club however
were 'the new kids on the block' in the Under 10s. They not only played great football but they finished as Runners up in their Mini League and capped the year off by winning their cup final on the last day of the season.
