KEEP THE FAITH [23 Sep @ 2:50pm]

The Skipper shouldl be back in the 14 on Sunday and hoping 2 have a massive influence on the game. Its far to early in the season for our chins to start dropping as there are plenty of points up for grabs still. With Melksham and Westbury having midweek games next week we are again going 2 have a number of unavailable players. We are boosted by the return of Ash Groves this Sunday and we are hoping he can bring his much neeed experience to the game. We've come out the wrong side of tight games the last few weeks when we've been more than a match for the two sides so lets make it 3rd time lucky. Gladstone Arms (White Hart Combe) should fear us as they have neverbeat us!! We need to be a TEAM On sunday and all work for each other and the result is going to come. The Message this week is.. We need to keep the faith and that winning feeling is surely going to return. The Skipper!!

STRENGTH IN DEPTH [11 Sep @ 2:33pm]

Hello Again to the skippers weekly blog readers. I take it everyone has felt a little down this week after we were brought back down to earth last week with the defeat against Potterne. The 2-1 defeat was a real disappointment when we deserved a least a point out of the game with the chances we had, we have to forget that game and look to the Westbury game on sunday. We have G-man, Sharpy, Ash, Kovs and myself out for Sunday's game but the Gaffer has strengthed the squad superbly over the summer and like i've said once before - we can go to Meadow Lane and look to collect our first win of the season. T.Robbo and Spad should know their team inside out from the Westbury 1st team on a saturday, so were looking for big performances from that pair!! With myself out injured were also looking to Dave Macey to put in a captains performance in my absence!!! The Message From The SKIPPER This week lads is Lets BOUNCE BACK and show this league we are a force to be reckoned with this year. The Skipper.

REVENGE TASTED SWEEEEET [4 Sep @ 12:28pm]

Hello again! Everyone involved at the club must have been on a massive high this week - after the heroics against the Jager boys last Sunday. Revenge tasted sweeeet!!! All the players involved were absolutely brilliant - and like I said last week, if we stick together we will be right up there come the end of the season. It's a big blow losing G-Man to suspension over the next six weeks after his perfect hatty on Sunday. However, we should have the squad to cope with the loss with Griff & Kovacs waiting in the wings to bag the goals. Potterne A will be a tough test and we'll have to be on our game to get a result at the Conigre. No games in this league will be easy, but I feel we have a strong enough squad to start the season with a victory. Coops & Ethan will be pushing to replace Sharpy on Sunday, who also starts a period of suspension. I thought the back four was solid in the second half last Sunday and the Gaffer will have a selection headache on his hands once again. The message from the Skipper this week is.....let's get points on the board at the first attempt!!

ITS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER GAME [25 Aug @ 12:43pm]

Welcome to the first edition of my weekly column. I'd like to say first of all that im really looking forward to the start of the new season in the Premier Division. It should be a great test for all of us and I think we can mount a serious title bid if we keep our discipline and stay injury free. The players the gaffer has brought in this summer have settled in really quickly and we have strength in every position now. Looking to sundays game against Fc Jager/ Jagerbar or whatever they call themselves these days. We have to go in to the game full of confidence and treat it like any other game, If we play our normal game then I don't see any reason why we can't win the game. They will try and wind us up, however every player on Sunday that wears that great blue and white strip and not the white and tango atrocity - should know in themselves that we have too much quality to get drawn in to the arguing. The message from the SKIPPER on sunday Lads is.....Keep our heads and we'll surely win the game. Lets also raise the roof in the home dressing room afterwards. :). Josh Robinson (The Skipper)
